FireTV Install (not firestick)

Setting up Apollo Group TV is quick and easy—it takes less than 5 minutes! Follow the simple steps below.

• Once installed, there’s no need to re-enter your credentials or re-install the application.
• The application can be installed on unlimited devices, but only 5 active devices can stream at the same time.

STEP 1: Press the ‘HOME’ button on your remote, navigate to the far right, and select ‘Device and Software’.

If you don’t see ‘Developer Options’, go to ‘About’ and click it 7 times. Then go back, and ‘Developer Options’ will appear!

STEP 2: Go to ‘Developer Options’, then enable both ‘ADB Debugging’ and ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’ by turning them ON.

STEP 3: Press ‘HOME’ on your remote, then select ‘FIND’ or ‘SEARCH’.

STEP 4: Type ‘DOWNLOADER’. Once you type ‘D,’ Downloader should appear on the bottom of the screen—select it.

STEP 5: Open ‘DOWNLOADER’, then select ‘INSTALL’ or ‘DOWNLOAD’ (confirm the app with the image below). When prompted, click ‘ALLOW’ to grant access to photos and media.

STEP 6: Once the ‘DOWNLOADER’ app is open, press the Left button on your remote to open the menu on the left side of the screen. Navigate up to ‘HOME’ and select it. Then, select the blank ‘URL Search Bar’ to open the on-screen keyboard

STEP 7: Enter the code, 229336, then Open/Select ‘GO’ Button. 

STEP 8: The download will begin automatically. Once completed, navigate to ‘INSTALL’ (use the down arrow, then right to highlight it), and select ‘INSTALL’.

STEP 9: After you install, Open/Select DONE, then Clck (on remote) HOME to exit the Downloader Application. 

STEP 10: From ‘HOME’, navigate to the right and select the ‘APPLICATIONS’ icon (located just to the left of ‘SETTINGS’).

STEP 11: Within ‘Applications’, scroll down to highlight the ‘Apollo Group TV Application’ (do not open it yet). Press the ‘MENU’ button on your remote (three parallel lines next to the ‘HOME’ button).

You can use this same process to uninstall unused applications, such as Downloader.

STEP 12: Open/Select, MOVE TO FRONT, from the options. 

STEP 13: Press ‘HOME’ on your remote, then open the Apollo Group TV Application. Enter your provided Username and Password to get started!
